Weston’s Big Wish began as the wish of a 12-year-old boy to continue doing good even after he was gone. Carrying forward his legacy, we bring joy to children and families affected by pediatric cancer while also funding for research that can lead to better treatments and cures.
Our Mission
Weston’s Big Wish brings joy and meaningful support to children and families facing pediatric cancer while funding research for better treatments and cures, carrying forward Weston Moss’s legacy of kindness, hope, and helping others.
Why We Began
Weston Moss was 12 years old when he died from Ewing Sarcoma after more than two years of treatment. Even as he faced the end of his own life, he was thinking about others. In the week before he died, Weston started drawing. He created artwork filled with messages of happiness, strength, and hope and asked that they be used to spread joy and raise money to help other kids fight cancer.
Those drawings, and the kindness behind them, became the foundation for Weston’s Big Wish, an organization created in Weston’s name to help children and families facing cancer and to support research that could give more children a better chance to survive.
Today, we carry out Weston’s wish by creating moments of joy and happiness for children in treatment, funding pediatric cancer research, and bringing the community together through meaningful fundraising activities and events. Everything we do begins with the same question Weston asked us to consider: How can we help?

Kelly Moss

Kelly Moss founded Weston’s Big Wish to carry forward the wish her son expressed near the end of his life: to help children facing cancer and give them a better chance of surviving than he had. As Weston’s mom, Kelly brings a deeply personal understanding of the challenges pediatric cancer families face and the importance of creating moments of joy throughout the long and difficult treatment journey.
As president of Weston’s Big Wish, Kelly works alongside the board and community volunteers to develop family support programs, organize meaningful fundraising events, and advance funding for pediatric cancer research.
Kelly lives in Salem, New Hampshire with her husband and two other sons. She works as a systems analyst and teaches part-time for an online university. She is also deeply involved in her community, serving as a member of the Lions Club and her local public-school board. Through Weston’s Big Wish, Kelly is committed to ensuring that Weston’s legacy of kindness continues to bring joy, support, and hope to children and families facing pediatric cancer.
